Kindergarten is a very busy place during reading workshop time. Children are reading independently. Children are working in their poetry journals after reviewing the poem as a class.
Children are managing their own time and are reading around the room-charts of poems, songs and stories that the class has composed. Children are listening to a story on tape and are doing an activity. Small groups of children work in a guided reading group where they develop as individual readers with Mrs. Barbuto's support. |
